LAS VEGAS, March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucinda (Cindy) Nachman thought she would always be an English teacher, but eventually became an award-winning ballroom dancer and dance instructor. Today, Cindy Nachman is CEO of Altrient, Inc, manufacturers of the best Vitamin C and although her responsibilities are different than conjugating verbs or teaching the intricate steps of the Viennese Waltz, she incorporates much of her past experiences, training and dedication into her current business tactics.

"When I was a kid," said Nachman, "my mom wanted me to take piano lessons. I was supposed to practice but never did because I never saw the value in it. Once I started teaching ballroom dancing, I learned the value of practicing. It became even more critical in the competitive arena. I would start the day by dancing with my partner for three hours, and then teach dance classes. At the end of the day, we would practice some more. I wasn't the most talented competitor on the floor, but hard work and perseverance led to success. Stand tall, pull your shoulders back and go. That's what I learned in ballroom dancing and I have carried that lesson forward to Altrient™."
Nachman believes competitive ballroom dancing honed many of the business skills and acumen she applies at Altrient™.
"The minute you walk on the floor, judges are grading you," she explained. "They're watching your comportment, how you interact with the audience, your technique and interpretation of the music. It's both a mental and physical endurance contest because you're out there with 50 other couples doing the same dances. You're constantly being bumped and kicked by your competitors. Each round only gets harder. But in spite of the fact that you're completely exhausted, you always have to strive for perfection."
"It's the same in the business world," Nachman continued. "Consumers and competitors are always watching and judging you, your company and your products. In order to be the best, you have to work harder than the rest. That's why I always strive to deliver the best nutritional supplements on the market."
Within the competitive dancing world, the Viennese Waltz is one of the most difficult to teach and perform.
"It's not just the steps," said Nachman. "The couple must keep contact on the upper torso- the two bodies must move as one. It's a highly technical dance and has a lot to do with positioning and how dancers hold one another. This dance takes a lot of practice and commitment, and that's how I conduct myself as the CEO of Altrient. I work seven days a week- sometimes 80 hours per week. You just can't start a company and let it run itself. What I learned from ballroom dancing is that practice, hard work and being in the right place at the right time pays off."
Nachman utilizes her apt teaching skills to educate her Altrient™ team about the products, the importance of high-quality nutritional supplements, and premier customer service, which includes a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
"In ballroom dancing you must have total confidence in yourself and your partner, and trust you both will deliver on every single step," she said. "One missed count or missed step can throw the entire dance off. Same goes for Altrient™. I have total confidence in our products, Altrient™ C and Altrient ME™, and our guarantee proves it."
Nachman also knows that successful people surround themselves with talented and capable people (partners) with different strengths.
"Just like in ballroom dancing, success is not due to one person," she asserts. "You can't be good at everything, but you can orchestrate and lead. In business you have many partners."
Nachman makes appearances throughout the U.S. to educate consumers about Altrient™ nutritional supplements. She is currently part of the Balance Your Life Road Tour 2012 from the producers of The Balancing Act on Lifetime Network. The Balance Your Life Road Tour is a part of the Southern Women's Show.
