BallenIsles Junior Cup 2012 to Showcase Golf's New Generation of Male & Female Rising Stars
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., July 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The storied golf courses at BallenIsles Country Club, where many golf legends originally qualified for the PGA Tour will showcase golf's next generation of male and female rising stars when the 2012 BallenIsles Junior Cup tees off July 19 – 22, 2012.

BallenIsles historic championship East Course, where legendary players like Jack Nicklaus and Julius Boros and Sam Snead won PGA Championships, will be the fitting setting for the second year of the Ryder Cup format tournament.
36 accomplished junior golfers will compete on July 21, 2012 (day one of the event), in a four-ball front nine, followed by foursomes on the back nine on day two, (July 22) that will feature singles matches on 18 holes.

On July 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., a demo day with Cleveland Golf and Srixon will present the juniors with an opportunity to try the latest in drivers and other equipment, while a pairings party will determine teams and when they play. Participants will also receive a Cleveland Golf Stand Bag, Golf Shirts, Hats, and Srixon Golf Balls for the event, which is sponsored by Cleveland Golf.
Scholarship For Athletes, a premier consulting company for student-athletes and their families that educates about the recruiting process, to guide competitive approaches for the best schools, will provide guidance to the junior golfers on how to obtain golf scholarships. "This is a great cause for kids who otherwise may not have anyone to turn to on this topic," Kelley added.
