BAL to welcome noted immigration attorney Jane Carroll as senior counsel

SAN FRANCISCO, July 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP (BAL) announced today that attorney Jane Carroll will be joining the firm's San Francisco office in the position of Senior Counsel. A corporate immigration attorney with almost 30 years of experience, Carroll will manage major accounts and assist in the administration of the firm's global efforts.

Carroll joins BAL following 14 years as Associate General Counsel – Immigration and Global Mobility for a prominent information technology company with operations throughout the world. She is renowned as a global immigration leader and a manager of global immigration practices, and has played an integral role in the development of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)'s Global Migration Section, for which she is the incoming co-chair.  Carroll currently serves on AILA's National State Department Liaison Committee and has served on the boards of multiple preeminent, immigration-focused nonprofit associations. She is a noted international speaker on global immigration topics.
