Baird & Warner Provides 16, $10,000 Grants to Local Nonprofits

CHICAGO, Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Baird & Warner has announced the names of the 16 local Chicagoland nonprofits that will receive a $10,000 grant, bringing the total company donation to $160,000. Recipients were chosen by the public in celebration of Baird & Warner's 160th anniversary. The month-long program garnered more than 80,000 votes.

Each of the 25 Baird & Warner branch offices nominated a nonprofit that addresses the needs of those less fortunate and helps them live healthy, safe and productive lives. From Sept. 1 - 30, Baird & Warner broker associates, employees, nominated organizations and the public at large voted for 16 of those 25 charities to receive $10,000 each.

Through the Baird & Warner Good Will Network, Baird & Warner has donated millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to a wide array of Chicagoland nonprofit organizations with a focus on shelter and homelessness, particularly for women and children.
