Bahraini King Pledges Support for Libya's National Transitional Council

MANAMA, Bahrain, Sept. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met on Friday with the head of Libya's National Transitional Council Mustafa Abduljalil and expressed support for a free and stable Libya.  

During the meeting in Paris, His Majesty King Hamad pledged to strengthen relations between the countries and hoped the recently held "Friends of Libya" conference would garner the international support needed to reconstruct Libya.

In turn, Mr. Abduljalil thanked Bahrain and its people for their support during the country's ongoing effort to achieve the Libyan people's interests.
