Omniture and Salesforce.com executives join the gamification and behavior management leader; global demand leads to expansion into Europe
MENLO PARK, Calif., March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Badgeville, The Behavior Platform and gold standard for gamification, today announced the addition of Chris Duskin, Vice President of Product, and Catherine Blackmore, Vice President of Account Management, to Badgeville's fast-growing global business that enables companies to measure and influence behavior. The new hires will join a team that has grown -- in just 18 months since its launch -- to over 60 employees around the world. In the same short time span, Badgeville has secured more than 150 customers, including many in the Fortune 1000, across virtually every industry.
"We are extremely selective over every hire we make, especially at the executive level, and it is with great honor to announce Chris Duskin and Catherine Blackmore as the newest members of our executive team," said Kris Duggan, CEO, Badgeville. "Both Duskin and Blackmore bring a wealth of experience, with Duskin's rich background in behavior analytics, and Blackmore's diverse history managing enterprise account relations across numerous global businesses."
Chris Duskin, Vice President of Product, is a leading expert in web site testing, behavioral targeting, personalization and optimization. He comes to Badgeville from Adobe's Omniture business unit, where he was a senior product leader for the conversion optimization products in the Adobe Digital Marketing Suite. At Adobe, he managed product direction and customer satisfaction for a $100+ million SaaS business. Those products, including Test & Target, Scene 7, Recommendations, and Search & Promote, all help marketers improve site effectiveness by delivering more relevant content. Duskin joined Omniture through its earlier acquisition of Offermatica. Earlier in his career, Duskin worked at Fort Point Partners, where he built large e-commerce systems for companies including Martha Stewart, Joann Fabrics, Best Buy, and Nike.
Catherine Blackmore, Vice President of Account Management, has more than 20 years of account management experience in technology, marketing services, and food industries. She has spent the majority of her career helping a diverse list of clients achieve success as well as significant return on investment. Catherine joins Badgeville from Salesforce.com, where she was VP of Customer Success for Data.com, and responsible for the onboarding, support, training, management and renewal of all customers. Prior to Salesforce, Catherine held a number of senior leadership positions, including VP of Customer Success at Jigsaw.com, VP of Client Services at Banner Retail Marketing, and Director of Sales for the Kellogg Company.
"Badgeville and their impressive suite of behavior management solutions is the next generation of web analytics," said Duskin. "Kris Duggan has built an impressive team and product in less than two years since the company launched, and I'm thrilled to come on board at this exciting time in the company's growth to develop Badgeville's product roadmap and execution."
Badgeville also announces a formal global expansion with the opening of its EMEA office in London, with a promotion of Scott Schnaars to General Manager of EMEA. Additional recent hires bring the team to 60 employees, include Chris Lynch, Director of Product Marketing, from TIBCO Software, Ken Bibb, Operations Manager, from Yahoo, Jenny Berthiaume, Community Manager, from Salesforce.com, and sales executives Jack Donahue, from Salesforce.com and Jennifer Basile, from ON24. Badgeville is actively recruiting for numerous positions, and plans to scale the team to nearly 100 global employees in 2012.
