BabyBjörn harnesses the power of "dads inspiring dads" with new #dadstories Spring Collection
STOCKHOLM, March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- It's important to BabyBjörn, the Swedish family owned company, that babies bond and have as much closeness with parents as possible. This is why BabyBjörn baby carriers have always been designed to fit both moms and dads. Now, BabyBjörn is delighted to announce the arrival of a collection completely inspired by modern dads.
The #dadstories Spring Collection features a limited edition BabyBjörn Baby Carrier One, with fabrics available in mesh (Cocoa, Anthracite and Powder Pink) or cotton (Classic Denim, Pale Blue-Leaf Print and Midnight Blue-Leaf Print). The ergonomic Baby Carrier One can be used from newborn to three years, with four carrying positions for optimal comfort for baby and parent.
"Men's fashion has a lot of patterned details right now and draws inspiration from the image of the modern dad. We've taken strong note of this and the result is our #dadstories Spring Collection," says Art Director Anna Ekman from the design team at BabyBjörn.
After working with many highly involved dads over the years, the BabyBjörn team wanted to highlight their stories. BabyBjörn asked six real dads and their kids to be the faces of this collection. Some of them also share stories about their parenting adventures and the lessons they've learned, which can be a source of strength and comfort for new and expecting dads. As a global company, BabyBjörn understands that the role of dads everywhere has changed a lot in the last 10 years.
"We want to make parents' lives easier, and to help make becoming a dad a little simpler and a lot more fun," adds Ekman.

To mark the launch of the new collection, BabyBjörn will donate baby carriers to organizations that work to support financially challenged families all over the world. BabyBjörn will donate 600 baby carriers to the Good+ Foundation, a national non-profit organization that provides essentials to families in need. BabyBjörn is also providing funds to benefit the Good+ Foundation's efforts to support its Fatherhood Initiative.
The BabyBjörn #dadstories Spring Collection, Baby Carrier One, recommended retail price: $189.95. The collection is now available at a variety of retailers.
