Babson College Student/Alumni Businesses Participate In 2012 MassChallenge Competition 2nd Round
WELLESLEY, Mass., May 25, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More than one dozen Babson College alumni and student businesses are in the 2012 MassChallenge competition second round.
MassChallenge is a non-profit organization that connects early stage entrepreneurs to the resources they need to launch high-growth, high-impact businesses immediately. Every entrant, not just the winners, receives access to workshops, mentors, executives, other team members and sources of funding. Experts from the Massachusetts ecosystem will identify the highest potential startups, which will receive cash prizes and qualify for privileged access to funding sources from across Massachusetts. 300 businesses were selected to move forward in the competition through a scoring process comprised of endorsement points, public ratings and judges scoring.
