Babson College Founders Summit April 11th - Created By The Arthur M. Blank Center For Entrepreneurship In Honor Of Babson's Centennial
The daylong celebration at Babson's Wellesley campus will feature opportunities to connect, learn, and network with fellow Babson entrepreneurs
WELLESLEY, Mass., April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Babson College Founders Summit, created by the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship in honor of Babson's Centennial, will present on April 11, 2019 a day of ideas and inspiration for founders and builders of all kinds of companies.
The Founders Summit at Babson's Wellesley campus will feature opportunities to connect, learn, and network with fellow Babson entrepreneurs.
It will feature a special Mega Mentoring session, pairing up 100 successful Babson alumni founders and 100 Babson student entrepreneurs for on-the-spot mentoring conversations and advice.
In lightning talk sessions, four of Babson's centers - the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance, The Lewis Institute, the Institute for Family Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership - will showcase their expertise in partnership with Babson alumni to share experiences and insights in entrepreneurship, finance, family business, social innovation, and more.
Successful serial entrepreneur Tim DeMello '81 P'18, who has founded seven startups including Replica, Streamline.com, Ziggs.com, Spotlight Media, and, Gradifi, will keynote and share stories from his journey and lessons learned along the way.
After the summit, the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship will present the finale of the B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®) Challenge, Babson's premier new venture competition, where entrepreneurs will pitch to win more than $300,000 in cash and prizes.
