In addition to an ease of PC management and increase of productivity for IT teams, Microsoft recently commissioned a study that revealed a total savings of as much as $702 per PC, per year using Windows Intune. This study includes savings from IT labor reduction and user productivity savings. Also mentioned in the study, Intune reduces costs by enabling management of multiple operating systems and devices, so there is less need for specialized equipment to deal with a diversifying workforce.
"B2B is excited about adding Intune as an extension to our Microsoft Cloud Services and our on-premise System Center offerings. As with Office 365 and SCCM, Intune enables us to assist our clients in choosing, implementing, and utilizing the best solution, cloud or on-premise, for all infrastructure needs," says Tonya Smith, Director of Consulting with B2B Technologies.
While Intune is in its first year, there is still a tremendous amount of room for product education. B2B Technologies is hosting a webinar on March 14th to give an overview and live demo. The event will feature a Microsoft Intune Specialist available to answer questions and get feedback from those looking for a reduction in IT costs and better way of handling their PC management.
