Azura Vascular Care Enhances Healthcare Offerings in the Buckeye State with First Ohio Center Now Open in Cincinnati
Ohio Native Steven Reed, MD, Named Center's Inaugural Medical Director
CINCINNATI, July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Azura Vascular Care today announced the opening of their first center in Ohio—Azura Vascular Care Cincinnati—under the Medical Directorship of Ohio native, Dr. Steven T. Reed. Adding to Azura's national network of more than 65 outpatient vascular care and ambulatory surgery centers nationwide, the center is located in the Grand Central Station shopping center at the intersection of Sherman Avenue and Smith Road in Norwood, and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
"We're thrilled to have Dr. Reed head our first center in Ohio, and are especially pleased to appoint an Ohio native who shares the same dedication to vascular access care as all the physicians within the Azura network," said Dr. Gregg Miller, Vice President of Operations.
Dr. Reed brings more than a dozen years of experience in minimally invasive vascular treatments, including dialysis access management, to his role. "Providing exceptional, patient-centered care is our commitment to this community and every community of which we are a part," says Dr. Reed. "We want the overall experience for every patient and their family to be the best it can be."
Azura—formerly known as Fresenius Vascular Care—is reshaping care through their network of outpatient vascular centers and ambulatory surgery centers across the nation, specializing in minimally invasive techniques for dialysis access management and other vascular conditions. The new location expands Azura's footprint in the Midwest, increasing the opportunity to offer the company's research-based clinical care and superior service culture to area residents. In designing the facility, care was taken to create a calm, comforting environment for patients. The friendly, efficient staff and convenient parking make the center a pleasant experience.
"Our goal remains focused on optimizing patient outcomes and improving the quality of life for the people we serve in Cincinnati and across the country," added Miller. "We're proud to be a new member of the local community and look forward to enhancing vascular care for our neighbors and beyond."
