Axxcess Expands Orion Insourcing and Introduces Readiness Tools for Firms and Advisors Weighing Their Next Move

New Orion Utilization Benchmark and Independence Readiness Assessment open a confidential, working conversation built around each firm's results

CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Axxcess Wealth Management, the SEC-registered investment advisor and TAMP behind the Axxcess Platform, today expanded its Orion insourcing services and introduced two diagnostic tools on axxcessplatform.com. The tools are built for firms on Orion Advisor Technology and for advisors considering independence.

The Orion Utilization Benchmark is a six-minute, 24-question assessment. It scores how firms use Orion across eight areas, from billing and trading to alternatives and vendor spend. Axxcess specialists then lead a 30-minute optimization session focused on each firm's three weakest areas.

Orion insourcing replaces the usual vendor model. Axxcess doesn't add another layer of technology, systems and processes. Instead, it works inside the firm's existing Orion database, under the firm's brand. A team that includes several former Orion senior support personnel runs sleeve-level billing, Eclipse trading, reporting, reconciliation and compliance day to day. TAMP capabilities are delivered the same way. That includes UMA/UMH with more than 400 SMA strategies and the full alternatives subscription lifecycle, from digital subscription documents through capital calls and K-1s.

Removing the vendor layer does more than reduce cost. It gives firms room to scale from within. Axxcess extends that capacity with internal applications it built to run its own platform, including billing automation, trade surveillance and data integration.

The assessment opens a structured, confidential process. Advisors share their results with the Axxcess transitions team, and the first conversation takes place under a signed NDA. Axxcess then models W-2 versus independent economics, including forgivable-note considerations. Terms are set out in a written MOU before any commitment.
