AXS TV Starts Production On Country Music Docuseries 'DISCOVERING LUCY ANGEL'
13-Episode Season Set to Air This Fall
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AXS TV–cable's premier music entertainment channel–has started production on an all-new country music-themed docuseries DISCOVERING LUCY ANGEL, which is set to air this fall. The series, which has received a 13-episode order, follows the mother-daughter trio Lucy Angel and the rest of the family as they work together to launch their music career in Nashville.
The cast includes daughters Lindsay, Emily and their mother Kate Anderton, who together comprise Lucy Angel; along with father and band manager G-Man; sons Fletch and Jake; hit songwriter Anthony Smith; Anthony and Lindsay's daughter, McCartney; and the family's two beloved dogs, Faith and Hope.
DISCOVERING LUCY ANGEL captures the ups and downs of the family's lives as they make a name for themselves in country music and highlights the endearing group while out on tour and at their family home in Franklin, Tennessee. The series premiere will pick up as the Anderton family prepares to launch Lucy Angel's debut self-titled album.
