AXS Combines Primary And Secondary Ticketing Inventory Into One Shopping Experience
Innovative Commingled Approach Streamlines Check Out Process For Fans, Amplifies Conversion For Clients
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- In a first-of-its-kind experience, AXS announced FanSight, which merges the company's primary and secondary ticketing inventory under one streamlined commingled purchase flow, adding to its leading sales interface where fans can select their seat in a fully immersive 3D view. Fans will now have access to all primary tickets available as well as tickets for sale by fans through its verified secondary marketplace. The FanSight product is now available across several marquee sport teams, including the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets, among others.
This new commingled experience allows the user to view all available seats simultaneously. In an industry first, regardless of ticket type, fans can select individual seats from the seat map and cart in a single transaction. The interface includes primary, secondary, premium and ADA seats, each with their own individual virtual view from the seat via the Fansight platform.
"Fans will always have a ticket to buy, and the venues will always have a ticket to sell," said Alex Hazboun, CTO of AXS. "It provides access to all of the available inventory all of the time—allowing us to sell the right ticket to the right fan at the right price." AXS clients with this new feature are seeing dramatic increases in conversion rates when compared against primary tickets alone.
"Our fans want a ticket they can trust, plain and simple," said Gretchen Scheirr, Chief Revenue Officer for the Houston Rockets. "The commingled inventory through FanSight gives them a one-stop-shop to get the ticket that is right for them, and one they know is authentic. Both our individual and premium sales benefit, because we never have to turn a fan away."
All seats will also be viewable through FanSight, the interactive seating selection tool operated by AXS. FanSight is a significant ticketing enhancement for fans as it provides the industry's only 3D customized viewing experience where consumers obtain an exclusive digital visualization of the venue from a bird's-eye view, as well as from the view from each individual seat— and now both primary and secondary seats will provide this experience.
