SINGAPORE, Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Axiros, a global leader in device management and IoT solutions for service providers, enterprises, and OEMs, today announced a partnership with Singapore's StarHub for device and service management of StarHub's residential broadband service.
StarHub is using Axiros' AXESS.ACS Auto Configuration Server for open device management (using TR-069, TR-181, and TR-143) and its AXTRACT Quality of Service/Experience (QoE/QoS) analytics platform to offer its residential broadband service customers a superior level of customer experience.
By empowering StarHub with advanced device management as well as sophisticated QoS/QoE analytics, customer satisfaction improves and the company expects a return on its investment with lower customer churn and higher value-added service offerings.
"StarHub continues to pursue the best possible experience for our customers, and in that commitment we have chosen an industry leader, Axiros, to help us activate, manage and monitor our broadband consumer services," said Chong Siew Loong, Head of Network Engineering, StarHub. "Axiros has given us the ability to achieve both operational efficiencies as well as a good customer experience in one easy-to-use platform that meets the needs of all involved."
"One of the benefits of the Axiros/StarHub partnership is the ability for StarHub to combine all device types on the same platform," commented Shaun Rossiter, Vice President of Sales for Axiros, Asia Pacific. "As StarHub continues to roll out broadband services with advanced next-generation home gateways, it's great to know that they can utilize legacy devices and add new device types with ease in order for their customers to have an improved level of customer support regardless of device type, provided they are using the Axiros platform. Axiros was able to migrate to the new platform within a short timeframe and ensure there was no disruption to StarHub customers."
Axiros partners and customers also include Verizon, Ericsson, Liberty Global (LGI), Lyse, Viasat, Colombia's Exito, Vodafone Italy, BT Italy, Swisscom, COX Communications, Centralite, Latvian Mobile Telephone, Linkem, VTR of Chile, Telenor, PHITECH, Comdate in Australia, and Ellipsiz in Taiwan.
Axiros has been making waves in the device management, M2M and IoT space this past year. It was recently recognized as one of five global 2015 Cool Vendors in IoT by Gartner, chosen as one of CIOReview's 20 Most Promising M2M Solution Suppliers, and shortlisted for the Broadband World Forum Awards for The Most Innovative Internet of Things Solution Award.
