WESTMINSTER, Colo., May 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Axion Health hosted its second annual "Lunch-n-Learn" session at the 2014 AAOHN conference in Dallas Texas.
Axion Health organized an open lunch presentation for occupational health clinicians and professionals on May 6, 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel, Dallas. This year's topic, "Managing a Successful Employee Vaccination Program," was keynoted by Debbie Greco, Employee Health Manager, Southwest General Health Center, and attended by over 200 conference attendees.
"We relish any opportunity to partner with customers and colleagues in educational endeavors," commented Dr. Lee Newman, Axion Health CMIO. "We are thankful to Debbie Greco, Southwest General Health Center and all the attendees for furthering the discussion on employee vaccination programs."
The employee vaccination topic was chosen for the May conference as it coincides with the start of 2014-2015 flu season preparations by many organizations across the nation. Debbie Greco and the Southwest General employee health staff were able to reach 84% compliance in the first year of their flu program during the 2013-2014 season.
