AwoX StriimLINK gives your Hi-Fi system a new lease of life: it can play music with incomparable sound quality, far superior to that offered by most docking stations, from your music library held on smartphones, tablets, USB key or a PC.
It is very easy to install: you simply need to connect the AwoX StriimLINK to your home network, using WiFi or an Ethernet cable. Your smartphone can then control your sound system, either via HTC Sense on your HTC smartphone, or via the free AwoX StriimControl application for Android. You can select the tracks to be played, set up play lists or choose web radio stations. AwoX StriimLink equally offers control buttons on the side of the unit (sound settings and mute).
In order to provide optimal decoding quality, the receiver is equipped with a digital S/PDIF connector which is ideal for maintaining the digital sound quality on even the latest Hi-Fi systems. The AwoX StriimLink can decode digital music stored on your computer if it is connected to the network via the free application available for Windows and Mac. Finally, the USB port also enables direct play of digital audio files in MP3, AAC, WMA and FLAC formats.
The AwoX StriimLINK is "HTC Connect"!
The HTC Connect certification awarded to the AwoX StriimLink guarantees total interaction via HTC Sense on HTC smartphones, you don't even need to download the AwoX StriimControl application.
After Pioneer, AwoX is the second manufacturer in the world to have achieved "HTC connect" certification, thanks to its wireless audio receiver, AwoX StriimLINK. This means that every owner of an HTC device can enjoy his or her music on Hi-Fi or home cinema systems which are connected to the AwoX StriimLINK.
AwoX StriimLINK is automatically detected by HTC smartphones, enabling users to play any music with optimal digital quality through their Hi-Fi system or amplifier.
Nicklas Jonsson, Vice President of Global Partner Management at HTC, commented: "We envision a world where your smartphone is the hub of your life. The HTC Connect program helps deliver this by letting people easily stream their favorite videos and songs from their smartphone right to their home or car. The combination of HTC handsets in combination with leading technology partners like AwoX results in an open ecosystem and, most importantly, a great user experience."
