AWC (Antique Wine Company) Expands International Sales Team With Two Key Executive Board Appointments

AWC has announced two significant senior appointments to its global sales and account management team. Stuart Young (above left) has joined as Sales Director for AWC's London headquarters. Stuart's key responsibilities include execution of the company's plans to increase the number of AWC's Client Account Management team by 100% over the next two years. He is further joined by Jean Philippe Guillot (above right), who takes up the position of Asia Sales Director, based between AWC's Hong Kong and Manila offices.
A former City sales executive, Stuart Young spearheaded revolutionary new sales initiatives during his tenure at Direct Wines, while simultaneously developing the company's training programmes. Spotting a need in the wine trade for commercially aware sales executives, he then went on to establish Provenance Recruitment, working with clients such as Pernod Ricard, Bibendum, Enotria, and Pol Roger.
Jean-Philippe Guillot has 10 years' experience in the Asian fine wine market and was previously Asia Export Director for Bernard Magrez Grands Vignobles Proprietaire. He leads AWC's team of six based in Hong Kong and the Philippines. AWC's fine wine sales in Asia represent 40% of the company's overall business, with further growth anticipated over the next two years.
