Award-Winning Randallstown Students and Celebrity Guest Celebrate School Success
RANDALLSTOWN, Md., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Community leaders, parents, educators, and a surprise celebrity guest (shh!) are coming together to celebrate the success of students at Randallstown High School. The celebration will take place on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 9 a.m. at Randallstown High School and will emphasize how important school choice is in helping shape student lives. The event will feature performances by the award-winning Golden Rams Marching Band and Cheerleaders, and will end with a major flash mob line dance (500+ people) on the floor of the RHS Gymnasium.
This celebration coincides with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"We believe students and parents invest in their education. When they choose Randallstown High School, it is our job as teachers to make sure they made a good investment," said Susan Ellerbee, Randallstown High School Multi-Media Teacher.
Ellerbee continued, "We are living in a different time; a more challenging time and students must have a new and innovative mind set to tackle and conquer what lies ahead. When we celebrate their accomplishments, we move them one step forward toward success. We must do this across the state of Maryland and the nation."
The event is open to media and parents and family members of the students of Randallstown High School.
