Award-Winning Film 'Crossroads' Debuts on Amazon Prime, Direct TV, and AT&T U-verse
Short film directed and produced by Marvin Nuecklaus now available on popular streaming services.
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning short film 'Crossroads' is now available on Amazon Prime, Direct TV, and AT&T U-verse. Directed and produced by Marvin Nuecklaus, the psychological thriller was a selection at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Oscar-qualifying Hollyshorts, and one of six films selected to the SAG AFTRA foundation's short film showcase.
Available for the first time outside of the film festival circuit, 'Crossroads' dives deep into the mind of a troubled young woman who must face the events of her traumatic childhood. The non-linear storyline keeps viewers guessing as it presents them with the protagonist's struggle with mental illness.
"Having been exclusively presented at film festivals, I am excited for viewers across the globe to view 'Crossroads' on these great streaming services," said Nuecklaus. "Digital distribution is an exciting next step for the project, and a testament to the performances of our cast."
Premiering in 2017, 'Crossroads' was nominated for Best Horror Film and Best Actress at the North Hollywood Cine Fest, won Best Picture at the UCLAx Film Fest, and was a winner at the Hollywood International Moving Picture Film Festival and the Best Shorts Competition. The film was highlighted by No Film School, listed among Studio Binder's '19 Best Short Films of All Time,' and the Thriller/Suspense Festival in Toronto, where it won Best Performance.
'Crossroads' comes as the latest work from Nuecklaus, who wrote, directed, and produced the piece. His recent projects include working on the hit lifestyle television show 'This Is LA', and editing the remake of the classic 1922 horror film Nosferatu staring Doug Jones, Emrhys Cooper, and Joely Fisher.
