AvMed Announces New Oncology Quality Management Partner

MIAMI, Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AvMed Health Plans announced that it has partnered with New Century Health (NCH), a leader in specialty care quality management, to continue providing quality and cost management.  NCH began providing medical oncology management for AvMed's Medicare members in Miami-Dade and Broward counties on July 1, 2013. Cardiology management services will be implemented beginning on September 1, 2013.

AvMed selected the New Century Health's CareNavigator program because of its success in leveraging advanced technology and medical management to help physicians deliver evidence-based care.
