Avineon Expands Commercial IT Business Development Team

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Avineon, Inc., a successful provider of IT, geospatial, engineering, and program management solutions, today announced that Brian Zaas has joined the company to lead business development efforts for the company's commercial IT division. Zaas will draw on 22 years of business development experience to identify critical needs for IT services, application development, outsourcing, and data migration for Avineon's Fortune 1000 and mid-tier customers. Expanding its commercial IT business development team will enhance Avineon's customer service offerings to accommodate and facilitate sustained company growth.

Zaas' previous work experience includes the executive management of global sales teams responsible for securing IT and technology contracts valued up to $2.5 million. In his new position, Zaas will be based in Avineon's Clearwater, Fla., office where he will also support Avineon's technical staff in fulfilling customer objectives. Additional responsibilities include leading sales efforts for Avineonics® 2.0, the latest version of Avineon's state-of-the-art emergency management software that enables organizations to better integrate emergency preparedness with daily operations and increase the efficiency of incident management processes.
