EVERETT, Wash., Sept. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviation Technical Services (ATS) today announced that ATS COO Paul Dolan was appointed to the Department of Defense Business Board. The Defense Business Board provides the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense, as well as other senior leaders, trusted independent and objective advice which reflects an outside private sector perspective on proven and effective best business practices for consideration and potential application to the Department. In this appointed position, Paul will join other business leaders in providing independent advice on Department of Defense management, business processes, and governance from a private sector perspective.

Paul joined ATS as Chief Commercial Officer in early 2016. Prior to ATS, Paul gained deep aerospace industry experience in executive leadership positions with Chromalloy and served for nine years in the U.S. Navy as an F/A-18 Strike Fighter Pilot. He holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, an MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
