Aviation and Digital Data Expert Bill Cunningham Joins Penton's Aviation Week Network
NEW YORK, March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Penton's Aviation Week Network (http://aviationweek.com) announced today that aviation data expert Bill Cunningham has joined the company as the new Senior Content Director, Intelligence & Data Services, based in the Rosslyn, VA office.
In this role, Cunningham leads content and operations for the company's intelligence and data products and services, including Aviation Week Intelligence Network and Market Briefings (Aviation Daily, Aerospace Daily & Defense Report and Weekly of Business Aviation) along with Fleet & MRO Data Services including Fleet, Forecasts, MRO Prospector and the products' underlying databases. He will report to Anne McMahon, VP, Intelligence and Data Services.

Cunningham joins Aviation Week following a 17-year career with The Boeing Company, where he most recently held the role of Digital Data Lead. He also was Chairman of the ATA Flight Operations Interest Group and a member of the ATA e-business Steering Group. His previous roles at Boeing included Lead Engineer and Editor, 737NG and BBJ Flight Crew Operations Manual; and Flight Data Technical Specialist for 737NG and BBJ airplane systems.
Prior to joining Boeing, Cunningham served ten years with the United States Navy in roles including Maritime Patrol Aviation, Flight Operations & Maintenance, Mission Planning and Flight Training & Instruction. He also served 12 years in the United States Naval Reserve as Mission Commander, Tactical Coordinator and Training & Maintenance Department Head for Patrol Squadron 69. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
