Aviall Earns Top 100 Military Friendly Employer for Third Consecutive Year
DALLAS, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviall, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, announced today it has been recognized for the third consecutive year as one of the Top 100 Military Friendly Employers by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs Magazine. Companies which earn this honor have committed themselves to recruiting and hiring veterans for jobs that utilize the leadership qualities, technical skills and field experience they earned throughout their military service. Criteria for the recognition include a company's long-term commitment to recruiting and hiring former military as well as hiring efforts and results, policies for Reserve/Guard members called to active duty, the presence of special recruitment programs and retention rates.

Companies surveyed each year are held to stringent standards. With help from an independent advisory board of industry experts, Victory Media developed the methodology and criteria for the survey, and the results were tested by Ernst & Young.
