American Technical Support will use Sigma Systems' Device Provisioning Manager (DPM) to support Avenue Broadband's 17,000+ high-speed data and voice customers, along with performance monitoring by Centina Systems' NetOmnia.
"We did our homework before deciding on Sigma Systems' Device Provisioning Manager and Centina System's NetOmnia™ fault and performance monitoring", said Steve Lowe, Chief Operating Officer of Avenue Broadband. "During this process our goal was to do more for less. The American Technical Support solution helps us do just that."
"We chose American Technical Support not only for their ability to monitor our high-speed data devices, but because they could give us visibility into our routers, switches, UPS devices and video components as well," added Kay Monigold, Chief Executive Officer of Avenue Broadband. "The American Technical Support solution will enable us to understand faster the customer impact of a wide range of infrastructure issues. This helps us serve our customers better."
Avenue Broadband will convert to American Technical Support's comprehensive solution of Sigma Systems' Device Provisioning Manager along with Level 1 and 2 technical support and 24/7 NOC services.
The Device Provisioning Manager from Sigma Systems allows NCTC members to more easily manage its service offerings, and cost-effectively scale as its subscriber base grows through automated device provisioning. The Device Provisioning Manager also enables service providers to auto-configure and provision business and residential end-user devices, including SIP devices.
