Aventis Systems, Inc. Announces New IT Services Division to Support Expanding Customer Base and Service Offerings
Company Appoints Director of IT Services, Continues to Chart Record Growth and Momentum in Technology Sector
ATLANTA, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Aventis Systems, Inc., a leading provider of technology equipment and IT services, announced today the formation of a new IT Services Division, a new Director of IT Services, and several new engineering positions to support an expanding customer base and service offerings. The announcement of the new IT Services and Support team comes on the heels of record company growth and the launch of additional service offerings earlier this year, including virtualization, cloud, disaster recovery, and server and storage infrastructure.
Driving the decision to focus on IT Services was the increased demand from Aventis Systems' SMB customer base who were looking for a full solution, a true one-stop-shop for IT products, services, and support.
"We have actually been offering all of the components of a full IT solution for some time, but felt the timing was right to take a more focused and customer-facing approach to support SMBs looking for an integrated IT partner," said Hesam Lamei, President and Founder of Aventis Systems. "We have the unique ability to customize our offerings and provide a great deal of value for our customers, as we offer both new and refurbished hardware paired with best-in-class software and service solutions as well as extremely responsive customer support."
Ben Yampolsky, Director of IT Services, will head up the new division, along with overseeing technology and operational innovation for the Company. In his role, Yampolsky will be responsible for the strategic vision and management of the services division as well as evaluating new product and service offerings. Additionally, he will manage strategic OEM partnerships, direct key accounts, develop technical and field engineering and mentor all department personnel. Prior to joining the company in 2006, he was a consultant for major brands, including Caterpillar U.S., Vixia do Brazil and iinteg. Yampolsky holds dual degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering Technology, and is an alumni of the TAG Infrastructure Board where he was a founding member, serving from 2010-2014.
The services team includes high level engineers, solutions specialists, as well as technical and field engineer experts. Two new engineers were hired to join the IT Services team. Brad Artlip joins the team as a Solutions Engineer. With over twenty years of technical experience, Artlip will serve as the liaison between the IT Services department and Aventis Systems' customers, establishing customized project goals and setting expectations. He will provide project milestones to all customers, helping to coordinate and manage individual project components, whether they be hardware, software, or services based. Artlip holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and previously served in a variety of roles during his seventeen year tenure at Hewlett Packard, including Technical Delivery Consultant for HP Continuity Services, Superdome Platform Support Specialist, HP-UX System Recovery Specialist, and Remote Account Support Engineer. Jesse Teehee joins the Company as a Field Engineer and will be responsible for performing advanced IT on-site services for Aventis Systems. Teehee has extensive experience in computer technology and repair, specifically working with refurbished equipment, and holds multiple certifications.
Additionally, Peter Miles who has been with the company since 2009, will join the IT Services team as a Technical Sales Engineer, and Andrei Gueletii, who joined Aventis Systems in 2008, has been promoted to Solutions Sales Engineer. Both Miles and Gueletii have exceptional track records with the company, resulting in their respective promotions.
"I am enthusiastic about the talented team we have in place to provide our customers with the expertise, vision, and knowledge they need in a trusted IT partner," added Lamei. "They each have substantial experience in their respective areas and will be a valuable asset to each and every customer they consult."
