Avanti Way At Center Of Miami's Transformation; Strikes Philanthropic Partnership With Techo
Latin Real Estate Incubator Forges Alliance with Latin Anti-Poverty Non-Profit to Host LIVE FORWARD: ART BASEL
MIAMI, Dec. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Avanti Way, an innovative real estate brokerage that serves as a technology and business incubator to its agents, announced today it has forged an alliance with Techo, a youth-led non-profit organization focused on eradicating poverty. The crux of the partnership entails Avanti Way providing an online mechanism that allows agents to donate funds from their commissions with a simple click when closing deals. Funds go towards building homes in communities across 16 Latin American countries experiencing extreme poverty, and agents can track how many homes they have helped build.
The two innovative organizations celebrate their alliance at LIVE FORWARD: ART BASEL, an event on Thursday, December 4th at 5:00pm, housed at the Pinta Miami, the Latin American Art Fair at 3401 NE, 1st Avenue, in Wynwood. Guests will include VIP clients, top agents and the CEOs of both Avanti Way and Techo. In this high-end, artistic setting which embodies the transformation of Miami, the event will also feature a live artistic creation from the great Venezuelan master artist Oswaldo Vigas. Proceeds from the sale of the piece will benefit Techo.
"With great success comes great responsibility," said Andres Korda, Co-Founder of Avanti Way. "As a real estate company, our job is at the forefront of transforming communities and helping enhance people's lives. One of the most potent ways to affect positive change is giving back and committing to a social cause. With this spirit in mind, we can't think of a more important cause or better organization with which to partner than Techo."
Through passionate youth volunteers, Techo aims to overcome poverty across the hemisphere and focuses on three key pillars:
- Promotion of community development in slums
- Fostering social awareness and action
- Political advocacy
Avanti Way has recently undergone a period of explosive growth, ballooning to 300 agents and 350 properties under management, culminating with the opening of its fifth office across South Florida.
Part of the expansion is the launch of the company's Branchising model, whereby small brokers or top agent team leaders can adopt the corporate ecosystem with a revenue sharing model that helps them work as productivity centers / talent scouts / community ambassadors and grow without the hassle or liability of being a licensed broker office. Avanti has plans to expand rapidly this way in Counties across Florida, beginning with a sixth office in Q1 of 2015 in Weston.
"Miami is at a point of inflection, becoming a truly world-class destination. In this booming Miami tech ecosystem, we view ourselves as the first real estate incubator, helping fuel the success of our Agentpreneurs with industry-leading processes," said Co-Founder Enrique Teran. "Part of that success has to be shared with those less fortunate. It's an exciting time for our city, and Avanti Way is right at the center of that transformation."
