Automated Logic's WebCTRL® Building Automation System Provides Critical Control for World's Tallest Data Center

Previously known as the Verizon Building, this 32-story, 1.2 million-square-foot tower located in lower Manhattan is owned by Sabey Data Center Properties, a Seattle-based multi-tenant data center infrastructure specialist and co-location provider. ALC's building automation system provides essential heating, ventilation and air conditioning control for the facility, which is capable of accommodating up to 40 megawatts of power and housing 600,000 square feet of data center space. The WebCTRL system is also providing multiple levels of redundant (2N) control, backed by extensive trend reporting capabilities. Sabey's critical operation team will fully utilize these capabilities to develop advanced sequences for chiller-plant optimization and maximum efficiency. Tenants will benefit from innovative system features that allow ideal operational conditions, security monitoring, and full access reporting and monitoring of critical operations.
