AutoConnect 2015 Conference Set For Nashville Kick-off Next Week
Event Reflects Importance of Automotive Focal Point
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Organizers of AutoConnect 2015 announced today that presenters and guest speakers are confirmed and anticipation runs high among participants eager to attend.
"We're excited and delighted with this year's event," said Robert Sartin, head of FBTAuto, the auto industry practice of Frost Brown Todd (FBT). "AutoConnect continues to grow in attendance, stature and participant demographic. Attendees from around the world tell us it's a must-attend conference."
The AutoConnect 2015 conference will be held next week, October 15th, at the Music City Center located at 201, 5th Ave., South in downtown Nashville.
In only its third year, AutoConnect has become a premier automotive conference. It brings together original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, investors, bankers and others to network on global industry issues. The one-day symposium highlights the relationships among auto industry sectors and provides a platform on which industry leaders can engage in dialogue and gain insights from top industry experts.
AutoConnect is unique among global industry conferences because of the senior-level people it brings together and the opportunities it affords them to network with executive peers from the ranks of automotive suppliers, car makers, equity funds, financial institutions, industry professionals and government, Sartin explained.
Conference spotlights Nashville's regional hub role
The Nashville area's strong OEM and Tiered supplier presence has spawned a robust infrastructure that supports diverse manufacturing operations. Nashville is also home to major banking, financial and professional service firms, all of which have developed automotive expertise and capability.
Sartin attributes the stronger interest in and appreciation for AutoConnect partly because of the focal point it provides attendees. Calling it a "natural progression over decades," he said it underscores the importance of a hub for the industry and the region.
"The auto industry has worked well for the region and we want to ensure region continues working well for the industry," he said.
