Author & Monsanto Expert Carey Gillam Available to Comment on Roundup Cancer Trial

WASHINGTON, March 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Carey Gillam, an investigative journalist and an expert on Monsanto and the history of its Roundup herbicide, is available for interviews about the Roundup cancer litigation wrapping up this week in federal court in San Francisco, and another trial that starts March 28 in Oakland, California. Gillam has closely followed all the Roundup cancer litigation and is familiar with the evidence, witnesses, arguments by both sides, and the factors that have so far led two unanimous juries to conclude that Monsanto's herbicides do cause cancer, despite the company's 40-year-long claims of product safety.

The evidence she has uncovered was so critical that she was asked to testify as an expert witness before the European Parliament about her findings, and she has helped advise lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Gillam, who lives in the farm state of Kansas, spent most of her career with the Reuters international news agency (1998-late 2015) before becoming Research Director for the non-profit U.S Right to Know consumer group in 2016.
