AUSTIN, Texas, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Austin-based startup Coder has launched Coder.com, an online integrated development environment (IDE) that enables anyone to write code on any device. Coder.com fully supports 15 programming languages and directly ties into cloud providers, giving users unlimited computational power. Coder is currently in private alpha and releasing large batches of keys every week. The company is actively looking for developers who want to help improve their platform.

Free of device limits, users aren't hindered by their internet connection, either. Typically, booting and connecting to a remote server takes a while, but Coder loads Ubuntu containers in under a second — letting users start coding faster. Coder was founded by John A. Entwistle along with Kyle Carberry and Ammar Bandukwala, the company's two chief technology officers. The trio moved to Austin a year ago and have since grown the company to more than 30 employees.
