Austin Business Incubator to Receive $20K Partnership Grant from Comerica Bank and FHLB Dallas

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Please join representatives from Comerica Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) at 7:15 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014, at For the City Center, 500 East St. Johns Ave., Austin, as they present a $20,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) award to the Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI). The presentation is part of a fundraising event for EGBI. Tickets are $100 each; tables are $450 (seating for eight).

EGBI is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, based in east Austin that serves micro-entrepreneurs from underserved communities in the Austin area. The PGP award will be used for grant-writing services and operational expenses.

Comerica Bank, a member of FHLB Dallas, participates in the Partnership Grant Program (PGP), which provides funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and economic development. FHLB Dallas matches a member's cash contribution to a community-based organization of $500 up to $5,000 at a 3:1 ratio. In 2014, FHLB Dallas presented $225,000 in PGP awards through its members.
