Augmented Reality App Seek Launches Promotion of The Mummy
Users Hunt for Real World Prizes from Cinemark, Fandango and Universal Pictures
ALPINE, Utah, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Seek (www.seekadventureapp.com), an augmented reality app, has partnered with Universal Studios and Cinemark, to promote the upcoming Tom Cruise Summer blockbuster, The Mummy.
At over 300 locations nationwide, anybody who downloads Seek can go to Cinemark theaters and open the Mummy sarcophagus (in lieu of the standard Seek treasure chest) for the opportunity to win $100 gift cards, concessions discounts, Universal Studios tickets, or even free movie tickets from Fandango. Kicking off tomorrow, the campaign will continue through June 10th, 2017 with total of over 10,000 possible prizes and $15,000 in value. Participation is free through Seek, and thousands of other prizes are given away in the app every month.
In addition to Universal Pictures, Cinemark, and Fandango, Seek will be running campaigns for Samsung, Six Flags, Sprint, and dozens of other brands this summer.
