HOUSTON, Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- To meet its continually growing business, Audubon has promoted Mark Roberts to Executive Vice President of Operations for Audubon Engineering. Roberts will directly oversee the operational business groups within the engineering company.
Effective October 1, 2012, the following Audubon business groups will transition to Roberts' leadership: Baton Rouge, Covington, Denver, Houston Central Engineering, Houston Onshore, Houston Offshore, Metairie, Operations Integration & Project Controls, Pipeline & Terminals, Procurement & Document Control, as well as all West Virginia engineering activities.
Roberts has more than 30 years' industry experience, which ranges from integrated operating companies to the oil and gas service industry. He has held multiple technical, sales and business management roles throughout his career. Most recently, Roberts held the position of Vice President of Houston Onshore for Audubon Engineering. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Texas. Roberts will report to Audubon Engineering President Lee Beckett.
As part of the Audubon Engineering leadership expansion, Mark Roberts announced the promotion of Michael Northcott, who currently holds the position of Director of Onshore Operations, to the position of Vice President of Onshore Facilities and Pipelines.
Northcott came to Audubon in 2011, bringing 28 years' experience in oil and gas exploration and production, as well as directing international project initiatives and operations in all lower 48 states. His career has included project, operations, general manager, and director positions for construction, commissioning, operations, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of gas processing and pipeline facilities for a variety of major industry providers. In his new role, Northcott will be responsible for the profitable growth of both the Onshore Facilities and the Pipeline business units, effective October 1, 2012.
