Audience Appoints Kevin S. Palatnik as Chief Financial Officer

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Audience, Inc., a leading provider of advanced voice and audio processors for the mobile marketplace, today announced that it has appointed Kevin S. Palatnik as its new Chief Financial Officer.

In his new role, Mr. Palatnik is responsible for managing the company's finance organization, including Information Technology, Planning, Audit and Controller functions.

Prior to joining Audience, Mr. Palatnik spent over 13 years at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. where he most recently served as chief financial officer, leading the global finance team, as well as investor relations, information technology and workplace resources.  Earlier, he held a number of senior financial and operational positions, including corporate controller and corporate vice president, finance and operations.  Prior to joining Cadence, Mr. Palatnik was chief financial officer for a private application service provider, and had held a series of senior financial roles at IBM.
