Audatex Announces Grand Prize Winner of NACE Smart Car Giveaway
Company to Feature AudaNet Platform™ and New Solutions at SEMA Show in Las Vegas
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Audatex North America, Inc. (Audatex), a wholly owned subsidiary of Solera Holdings, Inc., the leading global claims solutions provider serving the automotive industry, today named the grand prize winner of its "AudaNet™ Smart Challenge" held at the recent NACE (International Autobody Congress & Exposition) event in New Orleans.
Nora Chambers of Randy's Customs Auto Collision Center in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., was awarded a new Smart Car at the Audatex booth in front of a large crowd of other hopeful contest participants. The drawing capped an eventful week in which Audatex marked the successful North American debut of AudaNet, its intelligent, next-generation claims and collision repair platform. The company also showcased a range of updated, new and forthcoming AudaNet products. The AudaNet Platform will again be featured at this week's SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show, taking place Oct. 30 - Nov. 2 in Las Vegas, in the Audatex booth, #11265.
"From a high-impact mobile focus to our exclusive 3-D graphics and advanced vehicle identification, our complete family of AudaNet solutions are designed from the ground up to help collision repair shops and insurers put customers first and take their businesses to the next level," said Wolfgang Ahrens, Managing Director of Audatex U.S. "AudaNet drives customer satisfaction by streamlining and enriching the entire claim and repair lifecycle -- from the first moment a collision occurs, through appraisal, repair and until that claim is settled."
Built on proven technology successfully used for years throughout Europe and Asia, AudaNet is being optimized for the North American market to seamlessly connect insurers, independent appraisers, repair shops and vehicle owners, and will serve as the technology platform upon which Audatex's U.S. claims and collision repair solutions will be built, offered and delivered.
New Features Announced for AudaNet Xpert Estimating
Among the new AudaNet solutions slated to be on display at SEMA is AudaNet Xpert Estimating, the company's flagship estimating product, in which the company is investing significantly to dramatically increase ease of use, accuracy and efficiency when creating damage or total loss appraisals. Upgrades include an intelligent and predictive vehicle search capability that allows users to quickly identify desired vehicles simply by typing in a description. AudaNet Xpert Estimating also now offers new intelligent 3-D graphics features that enable estimators to quickly locate the right parts. Other updated features include holistic representations of vehicle interiors and exteriors, the capability to dynamically display vehicle changes depending on selected options, and specialized zones for quick access to special parts groupings, such as glass, electronics or airbags.
AudaNet Xpert Estimating also incorporates AudaVIN™, which provides complete "vehicle DNA" information – including regular production option (RPO) details – direct from and fully integrated with the auto manufacturers themselves. Linked to the powerful Audatex® vehicle database, AudaVIN offers the industry's most accurate vehicle identification offering, saving valuable time and money for collision repair estimators and insurance appraisers.
