Auction of Felicity Farm, an Exquisite Estate in Wawa, Pennsylvania, to Take Place Live at the Property on June 26
Extended auction date to make market aware that this premier property will absolutely sell above the reduced reserve of $1M
WAWA, Pa., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The live, on-site auction of Felicity Farm, a pristine 15.8-acre estate with grand residence in Wawa, Pennsylvania, has been moved to Saturday, June 26, and the reserve has been lowered to $1 million, announced George Graham, CEO of Concierge Auctions. Previously offered to $3.7 million, the property will absolutely sell to the highest bidder above $1M. The new date will give buyers and the real estate community additional time to recognize the unique opportunity this auction presents.
"The owner is committed to our auction process. By extending the date and reducing the reserve amount, we're ensuring that the pool of potential buyers is expanded and that bidders understand this auction is the real deal," stated Graham.
The sale is being conducted in cooperation with Debbie McCabe of Prudential Fox & Roach REALTORS®.
"Felicity Farm is one of the most exquisite estates in the region. With a reserve of $1 million, this is an incredibly rare opportunity," stated McCabe. "Concierge Auctions has completed successful auctions of luxury homes nationwide. They are the best in the industry, and I fully expect their strategy to extend the date and reduce the reserve will identify the ideal buyer meant to live in this property."
Previously part of a larger land parcel owned by Graham Wood, the founder of Wawa Dairy, Felicity Farm holds significant pedigree. In the early 1900s, Wood's son Richard and his wife Margaretta divided the property, and in 1936 they constructed the residence. The home was expanded in 1938, and further in 1948.
The main residence features a brick and stone exterior, six bedrooms including two master suites, seven baths and one powder bath, multiple fireplaces and custom details throughout. There is also a barn, several paddocks, a large indoor riding area and an outdoor ring, as well as a separate apartment with its own independent access. The current equestrian features could easily be converted to accommodate other hobbies: an indoor swimming pool, tennis or basketball court, a garage to house collectible cars or store farm equipment, or a host of other options.
"Since Concierge has begun marketing the Estate, we have had a tremendous amount of interest and an overwhelming number of visitors tour the property daily. Extending the auction date will allow us to bring more prospective buyers into the registration process to become bidders on the auction date. Lowering the minimum bid to $1 million will let all interested parties know that the Estate will absolutely sell," stated Chris Robbins, estate representative for Felicity Farm. "Over the years our family has invested upwards of $4 million in the property, and on the 26th of June someone new will own one of the Delaware Valley's truly Great Estates, and they will own it at an unimaginable price. We partnered with Concierge because of their great reputation. They have been professional from the start and their marketing efforts are outstanding. I have no reservations that they will conclude the auction successfully."
Nestled into a hillside, the estate greets visitors with stunning views of its incredible landscape and rolling mansion. Enter the property through the private gate, cross the stone bridge, and arrive to the arched walk-through portico, where a pendant lamp warmly illuminates a "W" insignia – a pleasant reminder of the home's storied history and initial, prominent owner.
A mere 25 minutes from the culture and history of Philadelphia and only two hours from Manhattan, Felicity Farm offers a perfect balance of location, amenities, and storied history.
The auction of Felicity Farm at 320 Wawa Road in Wawa, Pennsylvania will be held live at the property on Saturday, June 26 at 11am EDT. Attendance will be limited to registered bidders and their representatives. The estate is available for preview weekdays from 4pm to 7pm and weekends from 12pm to 3pm, or by appointment. A 2.5% commission is offered to the buyer's representing agent. View Terms and Conditions of Sale for full details. For more information, visit www.FelicityFarmAuction.com or call 866-649-8616.
