Auction of a One of a Kind Patent Portfolio is Wireless Industry Disruptive in Providing the Fastest Ever Blinding Speed, Access and Download of Digital Content to Smart Phones
TORRANCE, Calif., March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tara Chand is the inventor of this one of a kind patent portfolio and Founder & CEO of IPG Inc., a diversified innovation enterprise active across seven market verticals, including human health.
Chand said, "For illustration purpose only: if Verizon implements the technology of the portfolio and not AT&T, Verizon customers would notice in a fraction of a second access and download of digital content on their wireless devices, relative to, up to three to ten seconds on the AT&T network; and that would be industry disruptive."
The portfolio includes two different complementary technologies referred to as NOW-1 and NOW-2, where NOW-1 wirelessly bridges the link between mobile devices and the CDN (content delivery network) and NOW-2 creates a wireless network side CDN exclusively for the mobile devices.
The portfolio has been systems engineered from the ground up only for wireless mobile devices operating in a wireless network. NOW network can be deployed in a matter of months at a fraction of the cost of potential revenue from the NOW network.
NOW would have a revenue stream of up to ten billion every year, extrapolated from Akamai model, depending on how many businesses choose to host their digital content on the NOW CDN Akamai's and others' CDNs are geared exclusively for the IP-based landline network and not for the wireless network.
Internet Promise Group Inc. has retained IPinvestments Group to conduct the sale of this patent portfolio. At this time, the portfolio has been sent to select potential bidders and is in a 60-day due diligence phase. Based on the outcome of this due diligence phase, the actual details of the auction sale process will be finalized and communicated to potential acquirers.
The essential question now is who among the wireless industry and service providers, including the four major wireless networks, the major smart phone companies, and service providers such as IBM, HP, Oracle, Amazon, and others, would choose to be a bidder at the upcoming auction.
