AUA Press Event On The New Guideline On The Early Detection Of Prostate Cancer
SAN DIEGO, May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the American Urological Association (AUA) released a new Guideline on the Early Detection of Prostate Cancer, which addresses prostate cancer early detection for the purpose of reducing prostate cancer mortality. The guideline was developed through a rigorous, systematic review of published literature (including data extraction and analysis), and updates the AUA's Best Practice Statement on Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA), which was released in 2009.
As such, the AUA is holding a press event from its 2013 Annual Meeting to discuss the new guideline.
