The goal is to communicate to the business community how business and enterprise architecture helps improve performance across the organization, business objectives, IT initiatives, and programs/projects. According to John Dixon, Research Director, Gartner, "Organizations are realizing that you have to consider the entire business process (including performance) from start to end to help meet customer requirements."
The panel has been carefully picked to demonstrate how leaders in the field are using their business architecture to anticipate performance and investment impact. The discussion will provide examples of successful business architectures that encompass not only technology, but the people and processes necessary to drive business results.
Architecture planning will be addressed to identify how to design efficient processes, correctly staff project teams, understand the cause and effect relationship between IT investments and business performance improvements, and leverage IT infrastructure to maintain organizational growth. The panel will also discuss growing trends in predictive analytics and how data-driven decisions help to proactively meet changing business and technical requirements.
