CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Atul Garg has joined the Charlotte office of Protiviti (www.protiviti.com), a global consulting firm, as a managing director in its Business Performance Improvement (BPI) solution group. Garg serves as the national BPI leader for Protiviti's clients in its financial services industry practice.
Of Garg's more than 25 years of professional experience, he spent 11 years helping Bank of America improve business performance across a host of functions, including operational excellence/six sigma, cost optimization, banking operations, strategic planning and prioritization, implementation and oversight of enterprise multi-channel capabilities, and online/mobile banking strategy, among others.

Prior to joining Protiviti, Garg held management positions at Accenture and Sara Lee Corp. He has an MBA in operations and finance from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He has a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science and mathematics from Duke University. Garg is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
