Attorneys For Victims Of Building Collapse Catastrophe To Hold Briefing 9 A.M., Thursday

SUMMARY
Attorney Robert J. Mongeluzzi and members of his firm will hold a briefing to discuss the request by contractor-defendant Griffin Campbell's lawyer to delay the civil court proceedings for at least nine months due to the ongoing Grand Jury investigation. Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett, & Bendesky, PC filed the first of numerous civil actions resulting from the June 5, 2013, collapse at 22nd and Market St. that killed six people in the Salvation Army Family Store. Campbell, defendant Richard Basciano's demolition contractor, is among several defendants named in the filings. Other aspects of the pending cases, as well as the City Council special investigative hearings related to the collapse, will be addressed.
