Attorney Nisha Patel joins McDonald Hopkins

CHICAGO, Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nisha P. Patel has joined the Chicago office of McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the firm's Business Department.

Patel joins McDonald Hopkins after nearly five years at a Chicago-based international firm where she provided corporate, commercial, banking and finance, and investment management services for clients. Previously, she served three years as a Senior Internal Audit Consultant at Protiviti Independent Risk Consulting in Chicago.

Patel has substantial experience advising national banks and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions involving large and middle-market companies. She has represented large private companies in various M&A transactions, and has assisted companies in the organization and reorganization of their corporate structure.

Patel received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor for Development Articles of Review of Banking and Financial Law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with high honors from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she was honored as a Chancellor's Scholar and a James Scholar.
