The conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami features some of the country's leading lawyers and includes an in-depth review of the latest in transvaginal mesh and ACTOS litigation. On January 26, the United States Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation is scheduled to hold hearings in Miami regarding the coordination of all pelvic and transvaginal mesh claims across the country. More than 650 lawsuits are pending against mesh manufacturers based on claims that the medical products are defective and that manufacturers failed to provide adequate warnings to patients and their doctors.
