LOS ANGELES, Nov. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The issue of employment discrimination in the face of a cancer diagnosis is gaining widespread attention. Employers from a number of countries, including the U.S., are sidestepping discrimination laws meant to protect workers from unfair employment practices based on the illness.

The latest statistics come from Mexico where the National Council to Prevent Discrimination has attempted to curtail the abuse of employment rights based on breast cancer diagnosis.
