AT&T Park's Menu Line-up Already a Winner
New food and beverage offerings greet fans for Opening Day
SAN FRANCISCO, April 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The hospitality menu at the San Francisco Giants' AT&T Park is already praised as the Best Stadium Food in America, and is getting even better for the 2013 season. Centerplate, the largest event hospitality partner to North America's premier sports stadiums, convention centers and entertainment venues, is unveiling new hospitality plans for this season that include a new wine bar; an expanded hot dog and sausage menu; and a burger, considered one of San Francisco's best.
"We wanted to find new ways to delight Giants fans, and reflect the incredible culinary heritage of San Francisco," says Centerplate's Bill Greathouse. "Being hailed as some of the best ballpark food in America wasn't enough for the Centerplate team in San Francisco; we want to continue to excite fans with new menu offerings."
Centerplate's chefs spent the off-season creating menu items worthy of the World Champion Fans. New additions include:
Vintage 58 - A new wine exclusive location resembling a Napa tasting room will offer both varietals and local tap wine.
Chicago Dog Cart - This cart features the Original Chicago Dog with all the authentic toppings along with a San Francisco style dog and a sizzling Coney Island with chili cheese and onions.
Say Hey Sausage Kiosk - A new portable kiosk featuring a variety of specialty sausages like Atomic Red Hots, British Bangers and Pineapple Polish.
Original Joe's Burger - A San Francisco favorite for over 40 years. This legendary burger is now available at AT&T Park.
McCovey's BBQ Restaurant Kiosk - A new location for tasty BBQ at the top of O'Doul's gate featuring pulled pork nachos.
Lefty O'Doul's Bar - Another San Francisco Icon joins the team at AT&T Park: Historic Lefty O'Doul's bar features its famous Bloody Mary mix and specialty cocktails.
Additional menu items include the new beef and cheddar panini sandwiches, poutine fries (French fries smothered with beef gravy and white cheddar), field roast Artesian vegetarian burgers and a Giants Championship Opening Day souvenir soda cup. Fans can toast the season with the Giants branded Mum's Sparkling wine or with a sea-salt carmel topped Ghirardelli hot cocoa.
Centerplate handles all of the merchandise in-stadium. This year, Centerplate will start the season with a new line of opening day Fan Champions merchandise featuring a unique frosted glass opening day commemorative pin. The women's merchandise has been expanded to include Victoria Secret's Pink line. Also available is the ever-popular panda hat.
