AT&T Enhances Mobile Broadband Network in Gila and Pinal Counties
FORMER ALLTEL CUSTOMERS IN ARIZONA TO GET ACCESS TO THE NATION'S FASTEST MOBILE BROADBAND NETWORK, MORE INNOVATIVE MOBILE DEVICES
AT&T launches service for former Alltel subscribers, delivering access to the nation's fastest mobile broadband network and a wide selection of compelling devices
PHOENIX, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning January 30, former Alltel customers joining AT&T* will see a change as AT&T expands its service in Arizona.(1) AT&T is enhancing and extending its mobile broadband coverage as well as rebranding Alltel to AT&T in Gila and Pinal Counties, which includes the cities of Apache Junction, Arizona City, Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Florence, Globe, Kearny, Maricopa, Oracle, Payson and San Manuel. AT&T is also introducing AT&T's exciting lineup of products and services to former Alltel customers in the two counties.
Since its acquisition of the Alltel wireless assets in Arizona, AT&T has invested significantly to transition the former Alltel network infrastructure to AT&T. Now that the integration process is complete, former Alltel customers in these areas will get access to AT&T's industry-leading portfolio of mobile devices and the nation's fastest mobile broadband network.
The rebranding effort includes the former Alltel store at 1202 E. Florence Blvd. in Casa Grande. Transitioning customers may also visit the existing AT&T store location at 1269 N. Trained sales consultants will be available to demonstrate a wide range of advanced wireless products and services. Shoppers can also test the latest smartphones, quick messaging devices, netbooks and tablets. Customers will have the opportunity to learn how to get the most from social networking, manage photos or navigate with GPS on exciting exclusive AT&T devices.

AT&T will provide former Alltel individual and family plan customers that are eligible with a new, free phone or data device comparable to the one they have today with no additional contract term required.(2) Also, the vast majority of customers choosing free comparable devices will be able to keep their existing rate plans.
Customers also have the opportunity to upgrade their devices for an additional fee and with a new two-year contract, with current AT&T rates and associated data plan. In addition to the benefits for all former Alltel customers joining AT&T in Arizona, customers choosing an AT&T rate plan also will enjoy A-List with Rollover®, exclusive to AT&T, which offers unlimited calling to up to 10 additional numbers on any network and allows customers to keep their unused Anytime Minutes for up to 12 months.(3)
