AT&T Celebrates the Relocation of The Galleria Wireless Store
The new high-tech store offers a "try before you buy" experience
JOHNSTOWN, Pa., July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- To address the growing demand for advanced wireless data products and services, AT&T* today announced a new high-tech wireless store at The Galleria Mall in Johnstown. The new state-of-the-art store offers customers an interactive, hands-on experience.
This retail store provides customers with a better shopping experience. Shoppers can test out the latest quick messaging devices, smartphones and netbooks as well as learn how to get the most out of their AT&T device. Touch-screen information stations make it easy to view rate plans and coverage maps, compare different devices and shop for accessories.
"With more than double the space of the old store, our new store lets customers 'try before they buy' today's leading wireless devices," said Larry Evans, vice president and general manager, AT&T Ohio and western Pennsylvania. "No single cell phone or application is for everyone. It's our job to make sure every customer makes the right wireless selection and chooses the right plan to fit their wireless needs. In addition, we feel continuing to invest in the community benefits both local businesses and consumers alike."
This new store is another example of AT&T's ongoing investments in Pennsylvania. From 2008 through 2010, AT&T invested nearly $875 million across Pennsylvania in its wireless and wireline networks as part of our commitment to superior service in the state.
Located at The Galleria Mall on the lower level, the new store is led by industry veteran Vicki Lichtenfels and a team of ten who can demonstrate a wide range of products and assist both consumers and businesses with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
As part of the relocation celebration, consumers can check out specials including the exclusive Samsung Focus with a brilliant 4 inch touch screen FREE for a limited time at the newly relocated store in the Galleria Mall.**
