ATSSA Presents Rep. Duncan with Roadway Safety Champion Award
FREDERICKSBURG, Va., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) announced today that it has awarded U.S. Representative John J. Duncan, Jr. (R-Tenn.) its prestigious Roadway Safety Champion Award. Duncan, who has been a longtime roadway safety champion, has worked tirelessly to ensure that work zone safety remained a focus in the most recent transportation authorization, MAP-21. Duncan understands the importance of ensuring that our roadway workers behind the cones and barrels are as safe as possible through vital work zone safety training.
